The exports of Hungarian product to Finland increased by 10.4% in 2019 compared to the previous year, which is well above the 3.9% average increase of Hungarian export. The amount of Hungarian export to Finland has well increased, but unfortunately, it is still significantly below the level of Hungarian export to Denmark or Sweden (or the level we would hope for based on our intense cultural relations, traditional friendship and linguistic affinity). According to the data of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), Hungary exported goods worth 383.6 million euros to Finland in 2019, while imports from Finland amounted to 274.3 million euros.
